Remember Saro-Wiwa started in March 2004 and is funded from a major grant from Arts Council England, alongside Greenpeace-UK, Ken Saro-Wiwa Foundation, Lipman-Miliband Trust, Roddick Foundation, Staples Trust, Tedworth Trust and PLATFORM.
Over 120 private individuals to date have given sums between £2 and £27,000.
Coalition members and supporting organisations such as Museum of London and Whitechapel Art Gallery have donated over £50,000 through sponsorship-in-kind to date.
Remember Saro-Wiwa is now a 2-year project, up to the permanent installation of the Living Memorial in London. Thereafter, it will require maintenance funds.
